Eamon King is an artist who designs and creates his work in Toledo, Ohio.  All artwork and installations are handmade by Eamon and his team.  He began working with glass in the high school programs at the Toledo Museum of Art. After completing his bachelors degree at The University of Toledo he worked for 12 years as a glassblowing and flame-working instructor at the Toledo Museum of Art's Glass Pavilion.  He worked with adults and high school students as well as "at risk" youth in the community through the museums outreach programs.  After finishing his Masters degree at the University of Toledo with a focus in scientific glassblowing he left the Toledo Museum of art and began working as a scientific glass blower at the University of Toledo in the Chemistry department. Eamon is still creating custom artwork for clients and accepts commissions, while also making his other original pieces of art.

Eamon studied in Murano, Italy with many talented artists in traditional Venetian furnace and flame-working techniques.  He has gained much of his experience through extensively working for other artists and developing his own understanding of the materials he uses.  His work often will take many hours of carving glass to achieve his finished designs.  He works in multiple types of glass, metal, and woodworking techniques to create his finished artwork.

" I enjoy the challenges of custom creations for clients.  It's very rewarding to collaboratively create artwork that both the client and myself enjoy." -Eamon
